Architect graduated from the Seville School of Architecture, specialising in Urban Planning. She opened her own firm in 1989, where she participated in various public tenders and carried out publications, projects and works for public and private initiatives.

From the 1990s to the 2000s, she collaborated with the Directorate General of Cultural Heritage of Andalusia’s Regional Ministry of Culture. From 1990 to 1993 she participated in the documentation and systematisation of the building renovation works of Andalusia ‘s Historical Heritage, which culminated in work published by the Regional Ministry of Culture in 2000.

Provincial architect at the Seville Regional Council after successfully passing the competitive examination in 1993 being the best in her exam. During this period she designed and directed various constructions for the province’s city councils.

In 2002 she began her political career after 14 years as an architect, where she participated in a group of Urban Projects as part of the 2003 municipal election campaign for the Mayor of Seville.

From 2003 to 2008 she was councillor for Seville City Council, and spokesperson for the People’s Party (PP) from 2006 to 2007. Also, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Real Alcázar from 2003 to 2008 and from 2012 to 2015.

From 2008 to 2018, she was regional MP for Seville, and spokesperson for the PP Parliamentary Group on Housing and Territorial Planning.

She joined the PP in 2004. From 2004 to 2014 she held various positions in the PP-A, such as Deputy Secretary for Housing, Infrastructure and Territorial Planning, Social Organisations, and European Affairs. Since 2011 she has been a member of the National Development Commission of the People’s Party
