Responsible for the Safety in Use and Accessibility technical area, focusing on the development of scientific-technical work and pre-normative research, as well as in knowledge transfer within The Eduardo Torroja Institute for Construction Sciences (IETcc) from the CSIC.
The team specialises in risk analysis in the use of buildings and universal design criteria, with a particular focus on the renovation of existing buildings and Cultural Heritage. Among its work, the Agreement with the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda on the drafting for the Technical Building Code, in particular the DB SUA, must be highlighted. As well as their participation in national and international technical standardisation and regulation working groups.
