University Professor within the Area of Environmental Technologies, Department of Civil Engineering of the ETS de Ingeniería de Caminos, Canales y Puertos (Advanced Technical School of Civil Engineering) of the University of Granada. She has worked on different aspects regarding sustainability and circular economy.
She has published more than 100 scientific papers in high-impact international journals and has participated in numerous competitive research projects. Worthy of mention are her collaboration with companies and administrations in research results transfer initiatives.
Director of the Chair Hidralia UGR since 2016, and co-director of the Chair Green Footprint for the sustainable transformation of Granada and its province, as well as a member of Hidralia’s Board of Directors.
Co-founder the spinoff PROMA, an environmental consultancy.
Her professional career was recognised in February 2020 with the Medalla de Andalucía al Mérito Medioambiental (Andalusian Environmental Merit Medal).
